Generally, enter the function first. If the function is not entered on the screen, enter the value to pass to the function first.
For conversions, enter the number to convert first.
Green is used to indicate what mode is active. For example, if "Deg" is shown in green, the the calculator is presently in Degree mode, and the Trig functions will use degrees instead of radians.
